Tara 0 Report post Posted September 12 (edited) I am not sure how to work the answer in exercise 1.4. 1(h)? I have the answers, but I am looking for a book that might have the worked out solutions. I have only the answers for try it. Does Jennifer Horst write a book for demensions 7a? Edited September 12 by Tara Another question

Jenny 3 Report post Posted September 22 There is a book that has worked out solutions, see http://www.singaporemath.com/Dimensions_Math_Teaching_Notes_7A_p/dmtn7a.htm Do you mean how to find the lowest common multiple of 65 and 91? You have to find the factors. 65 = 5 x 13, 91 = 7 x 13, so the LCM is 5 x 7 x 13. 5 is an obvious factor of 65, once you find the other factor, that sort of gives it away, and might let you think of trying 13 for 91. Even if not, 2 won't work for 91, nor any even number, nor 3 since 9 + 1 = 10, nor 5, so next one to try would be 7.
